Born Clark Burgess in England during the early 1960’s, Sunny took on his name in memory of his partner who passed into spirit.
Sunny has trained as a medium at the Arthur Findlay College in the UK for over 20 years where some of the world’s greatest mediums helped to shape his understanding and develop his ability.
The A.F.C. is the world’s most prestigious and well respected venue for training mediums and Sunny remarks that you have never really put your mediumship to the test until you demonstrate there and experience an assessed demonstration! The spirit of the great mediums including Albert Best and Gordon Higginson are often around as they spent much of their lives in this great place teaching and demonstrating.
As well as performing proof of survival or evidential displays of his mediumship, Sunny was also invited to perform a demonstration of trance mediumship at the College. In its purest form, trance mediumship is a rare gift and Sunny has spent many decades developing and demonstrating this.
Sunny has worked as a public medium for nearly 20 years and has demonstrated in Manchester, London, Melbourne, Brisbane and the north of Queensland. In 2006 he turned professional as a medium and toured the clubs and theatres in Queensland providing survival evidence for those grieving and needing connections with their loved ones.
In 2007 Sunny was awarded the Victor Zammitt International Medium of the Year Award which was shared with a group of mediums including John Edwards and Lisa Williams. Mr. Zammitt, who is a retired lawyer and academic, stands in the Australian Psychics Association Hall of Fame for his vast contributions to mediumship and the scientific study of psychic sciences.
